We have represented both borrowers and lenders in suits involving complex lender liability issues and litigation involving large financial institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Our attorneys have petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court for a Writ of Certiorari, been involved in the World Trade Center bombing litigation in New York, and have distinguished themselves by winning a dismissal in a case of first impression which sought to recover for injuries stemming from exposure to secondhand cigarette smoke.

Initially founded as an insurance litigation firm, we continue to maintain a stalwart presence in the insurance industry and have extensive expertise in litigating complex insurance coverage issues on behalf of both insurers and insureds.

Whenever a business or commercial dispute falls within the scope of the client’s existing insurance, the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group works closely with its insurance division to explore potential payment of litigation defense costs, and if necessary, indemnification of the dispute through the client’s available commercial insurance.
