PMTT's 2011 Annual Claims Seminar will be held on October, 20, 2011, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in West Palm Beach. This year's full day seminar will feature property and liability tracks as well as two joint sessions. The property track includes sessions on Discovery of the Insurer's Claim File, Mediating Windstorm Claims, Conducting Statutorily Compliant Sinkhole Investigations and Plumbing and Water Loss Strategies. The liability track will include sessions for Handling Motor Vehicle Injury Claims, Contaminated Food Products, and Construction Defect Litigation Management. The joint track will include a Case Law Update and an ethics presentation on the Appraiser's Role and Responsibilities. All sessions are approved for Florida CE credit. Anna D. Torres will be a presenter at the PLRB's Large Loss Conference in Chicago, September 26-28, 2011. Through the presentation of a hypothetical claims scenario, the session topic Navigating the Ethical Minefield of the Tripartite Relationship will explore how e very day claims handling or litigation management decisions can create bad faith exposure and other ethical dilemmas and will address each of several crossroads and the ethical ramifications of typical claims management and litigation decisions.

MC CONSULTANTS' 5TH ANNUAL EAST REGION CONSTRUCTION DEFECT AND INSURANCE COVERAGE CONFERENCE
