PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Stephanie H. Luongo is a civil litigation attorney with over 15 years litigation experience currently co-managing our Property group and practicing in the areas of general first party defense, fraud investigation and defense, catastrophe/large loss defense, bad faith and commercial litigation.

Prior to becoming bar admitted, Ms. Luongo served as Manager of Broadcast Business Affairs for a large advertising agency in Boston , MA. Her work consisted of negotiating entertainment contracts for scale and celebrity talent, rights and permissions licensing and television commercial production contractors and applying and interpreting collective bargaining agreements for unions involved with the production of national and local television, radio and print advertising campaigns.

After receiving her J.D. from New England School of Law in 1992, Ms. Luongo practiced as a solo litigation practitioner in Malden/Middleton, MA. Ms. Luongo's primary concentration areas were Personal Injury, Family Law, Employment Law and Residential Real Estate. Ms. Luongo was adjunct faculty for the paralegal certification program at North Shore Community College, Beverly, MA.

After relocating to Florida, Ms. Luongo was hired by the Palm Beach County School Board , West Palm Beach, FL and subsequently accepted a position with SACC (School Age Child Care), as an Assistant SACC Director. Her work included development and implementation of the SACC curriculum until joining the firm in 2003. Ms. Luongo has been a partner with the firm since 2006.

Ms. Luongo is admitted to the bars of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; U.S. District Court/District of Massachusetts; U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit; State of Florida; U.S. District Court Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida; U.S. Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit; and United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Luongo is a member of The Florida Bar Association and Palm Beach County Bar Association, former member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association and North Shore Women Lawyers Association. She is also a member of DRI (Defense Research Institute) and its Insurance Law Committee. She has also been appointed to successive terms on the Florida Bar Association's Federal Court Practice Committee.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Ms. Luongo served on the Board of Directors, Executive Board for Wellington Youth Baseball, is recognized by the School District of Palm Beach County/Volunteers in Public Schools program and is a former Big Sister/Greater Boston.
